United Kingdom – After writing her globally-acclaimed book, ‘Connect, How To Know If He’s Really Your Man’, writer Dawn Burnett had no idea she’d soon not only be teaming with the likes of Jack Canfield (Co-Author of Chicken Soup For The Soul), but also writing a song that would lead her into collaboration with none other than producer Tony Moore.

The latter has recently seen Burnett sign an exclusive deal with Moore and Liimu- a contestant on Patti Labelle’s team on ‘Clash Of The Choirs’. It’s all in support of ‘I AM a Trainwreck’, an uplifting and potentially life-changing musical track that is based on Burnett’s original book.

“After writing my book and then co-authoring another with Jack Canfield, I decided it was time to write a song based around the book’s positive message. One thing led to another and I ended up on a team with Liimu and Tony Moore – who has huge musical stars to his name including Usher and Patti Labelle. It’s not bad for a song concept I came up with in just ten minutes!” explains Burnett.

Continuing, “The song and its message are extremely different from anything else on the market. It’s all about ending that elusive search for external happiness and instead looking inward; realising that life’s most important relationship is the one we have with ourselves. When we can learn to love and heal our inner being, we are no longer a trainwreck and everything in our life will transform itself into something overwhelmingly great.”

About the Team:

Producer – Tony Moore:

Tony Moore has worked with artists such as Usher and Patti Labelle and creates music for major motion pictures one being “Cover” directed by Bill Duke.

Tony Moore hails from the city of brotherly love, Philadelphia PA, by way of Okinawa, Japan.  His experiences have allowed him to hold the amazing titles of songwriter, writer, director, musician, movie supervisor, music arranger, and producer, with many more to follow.

Musically, Tony has worked with many artists including Patti LaBelle, Mya, Common, Marsha Ambrosious, Jazmine Sullivan as well as gospel artists Tye Tribbett , DA T.R.U.T.H, and Deitrick Haddon.  He produced “The Greatest Love of All” by Kindred The Family Soul, Beanie Sigel song entitled “No bravery”, and “Hush” by Grammy award winning artist Usher.

On the big screen, Tony worked with Bill Duke on his film “Cover” starring Leon and Vivica Fox, as well as “Not Easily Broken” with Morris Chestnut, Taraji P. Henson and Jenifer Lewis. His television credits include J.J. Abrams and NBC’s television series “Undercover” with Boris Kodjoe and Mekia Cox. Tony has experience in live production including the “Giving Back to Haiti” relief benefit concert 2010 which featured artists such as Meek Mills, Bilal, Jazmine Sullivan , Kindred The Family Soul, and many more. He is currently working on the movie, “Japanese Asteroids”, VH1’s Save the Music Project pilot, as well as 4 untitled Hollywood movies under Will Smith’s and Vidal Davis’ company Overbrook Entertainment.

Writer – Dawn Burnett:

Producer – Glen McGill:

Glen McGill has been playing lead and rhythm guitar and producing artists in Philadelphia and more recently, Northeast Florida, for more than 25 years. He is influenced by a wide range of artists, including Larry Carlton, Eddie Van Halen and Jeff Beck. As a producer, he also plays keyboard and bass to lend a full sound to his song arrangements and has experience writing and producing in a wide variety of genres, including dance, R&B, rock, pop and country. Glen founded M.A.A.D.
